You have to take everyone's photo even though most of them are rude to you and you spend half the time arguing with them to get them to stop and take the photo. When you call in sick they barder with you on the phone telling you too bad you have to come in or find your replacement. You are asked to do more then your job title, to include photographing special events and still be required to make your sales for that day. One manager will undermine the other and then you'll get in trouble for it. You will get overwhelmed with customers at times and no one will come out of the office to help you and then you loose potential sales that also hurts your numbers. You will meet your numbers and then they tell you that its not good enough because you sold too many cheeper packages. Even if you make all your sales you often get called into the office to sign paperwork that says no one is doing the job correctly saying the lines the way they want you to say them. you are forced to chase after every tourist that walks by and even when they are rude to you and say no you have to keep going because you'll get written up if you dont. ![]() You have to make a certain amount of sales per day usually 15 or 20 plus in busier months. They toss you to a normal employee and have you just shadow them to learn your job and then pick that employee apart and tell you not to do anything that they do. Management is horrible, they dont train you and then write you up when you make a mistake even though you weren't trained properly. She also wouldn’t even give us out ten minute breaks ever. My voice was unheard no matter what I did so I quit because I’m not going to be disrespected lied about and made to be out something I’m not and have no one believe me or listen to me. I’ve complained to the supervisor and nothing happened. She stresses everyone out and I quit because of her because she gave me so much anxiety and stress. She didn’t even fully train me she just threw me on the other employees to train me which isn’t their job. She would lie to the supervisors and tell them she coached us. For someone who doesn’t do anything and uses any excuse to sit in her office and vape and eat she had the audacity to be extremely strict on us. She treats everyone on the team horribly. I had a fellow employee and her dog was dying and she wouldn’t even give her the day off and said “dogs aren’t a part of the family” she also gave me a hard time getting off for actual emergencies. ![]() The manager sits in her office all day every day and writes us up for every little ridiculous thing. The management at the USS Missouri is absolutely horrible. Those with families, school, emergencies, etc.) If they want to make a positive change they have to consider everyone's opinion, and care about their workers.Their only as strong as their weakest link. They also don't give any leeway for those who have lives outside of the job (I.e. They do not care about the operations and setting of their venues, we often have things that break or need to be fixed. The pay is also bad and fluctuates depending on if they feel generous or not, noting that it isn't even enough to be self sustaining in Hawaii where everything is expensive. The management can be very unprofessional, ex: they sent this guy from corporate to spy on us, and act like a new hire at our venue. They do not care about their workers or give any say to improvement for the company and venues. They have Unrealistic and unreasonable goals for a dying industry. ![]() First of all they do not give recognition to people of color or allow any real movement otherwise up the management ladder. I would not recommend anyone to work for magic memories.
